LEMONHEAD LA LAUNCHES AT VIOLET GREY,

RELEASES EXCLUSIVE MELROSÉ SPACEJAM

-FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE-

LOS ANGELES, CA - LEMONHEAD LA is officially approved by The Violet Code. The LA-based indie glitter brand is launching three of their best-selling Spacepastes® (Metallic Glitter Concentrate) at VIOLET GREY as well as a new shade of their Spacejam® (Ultra Luxe Glitter Balm) named “MELROSÉ.”

MELROSÉ Spacejam® is a sophisticated white gold with hints of blush and a star-studded finish. VIOLET GREY collaborated with Lemonhead LA on the shade. Melrosé Spacejam can be found exclusively at VIOLET GREY and getlemonhead.com (retail price $28) on October 29, 2018.

To celebrate, Lemonhead LA founder Megan Dugan and her team of artists will be applying holiday glitter looks at the first annual Melrose Place After Hours, event details TBA.

Lemonhead LA is considered the “Caviar of Glitter” by celebrity artists such as Pati Dubroff, Sir John and Kabuki. Their luxury glitters have been spotted on stars such as Beyoncé, Margot Robbie, Priyanka Chopra, Katy Perry and many others who have fallen in love with the hassle-free application and removal.

With our recent rebrand and launch of our new formula, it couldn’t be a better time to partner with VIOLET GREY. It’s amazing to think that the worlds’ most exclusive and luxury beauty retailer would even consider carrying glitter. It’s safe to say we did our job in disrupting the cosmetics industry and made it okay for adults to be a bit more playful with beauty and I’m so proud of that.
— Megan Dugan, Founder & CEO, Lemonhead LA
Pati Dubroff was the makeup artist who turned me onto Lemonhead. After she used it on her clients I was floored by how beautiful she could make glitter look without it mimicking my childhood in the 90s. After I got the product in my hands I was even more amazed by the quality of the vegan formula. Not only does it not fallout, but it might be the easiest glitter ever to remove (just use water or a micellar water). Needless to say after about 18 years of not wearing glitter, I’m wearing it again.

ABOUT LEMONHEAD LA

LEMONHEAD LA (LHLA for short) Spacejam® and Spacepaste® were created 3 short years ago by LA makeup artist Megan Dugan after the frustration of using loose glitter got the best of her. She created products so that artists could better express their creativity without being intimidated by the beauty industry’s most infamous menace. Today the brand continues to improve the lives of makeup artists by hiring them to fill all open positions in the company including making each jar by hand. Their motto is “by artists, for artists.”

NOTE: Lemonhead LA recently rebranded and updated their formula which remains vegan & cruelty-free and is based in luxe ingredients including marshmallow root and sea kelp making it more soothing and weightless. Requested by body painters, the new formula is now splash-proof and boasts a 40% stronger hold while maintaining the mess-free application and removal it’s famous for. When you’re ready for it to go away, simply wipe with a damp washcloth or try the brand’s signature technique– a lint roller!

Fans can share their looks on social using #glitterforadults and #lemonheadla. For more information visit www.getlemonhead.com or join their cult-following on instagram @LEMONHEAD.LA.
